DMK president M.K. Stalin warmly congratulated Tamil Nadu Director General of Police J.K. Tripathy for issuing an official circular mandating the comprehensive use of the Tamil language across the state police department. The administrative directive instructed all police personnel to execute daily administrative entries, attendance registers, official notes, departmental correspondence, and police station signboards exclusively in Tamil. Stalin hailed the decision as an admirable and significant step toward elevating Tamil in statutory administrative governance.

Stalin urged the state police leadership to ensure that the progressive circular is executed completely, rigorously, and without bureaucratic laxity across every police range, commissionerate, and rural outpost. He observed that when law enforcement agencies utilize the mother tongue of local citizens, it bridges the gap between the police force and the public, enabling ordinary people to voice grievances and pursue justice without linguistic barriers.

He noted that promoting Tamil across government administration aligns with the foundational ideological legacy of the Dravidian movement, which consistently championed Tamil as the primary language of governance. Stalin affirmed that the DMK will persistently support every administrative initiative that enriches Tamil language usage in official public administration.
