DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a sharp denunciation of Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami's claim that the AIADMK would vigorously defend social justice whenever it faced danger. Writing in his regular communication to party brethren, Stalin described the Chief Minister's assertion as peak political hypocrisy. He pointed out that the AIADMK administration consistently compromised social justice principles by endorsing the Union Government's Economically Weaker Sections reservation and remaining silent on gross reservation irregularities in central educational institutions.

Stalin criticized the state leadership for facilitating policies that dismantle the hard-won sixty-nine percent reservation framework established through decades of Dravidian struggle. He stated that those who actively assist reactionary forces in laying a foundation to bury social justice have no moral right to lecture Tamil Nadu on affirmative action. The state government failed to defend OBC, Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe quotas in medical admissions and central recruitment drives.

Stalin resolved that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will continue to serve as an unyielding fortress protecting affirmative action and egalitarian opportunities. He declared that the DMK will resist every backdoor attempt to undermine reservations and disenfranchise historically oppressed communities.
