DMK president M.K. Stalin extended warm felicitations on behalf of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray upon taking oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Attending the momentous swearing-in ceremony held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, Stalin expressed immense happiness at being present to witness the historic transition of executive power. He conveyed best wishes to the new leadership for a highly successful, stable, and socially transformative tenure in governing Maharashtra.
Stalin voiced his earnest aspiration that the tripartite coalition comprising the Shiv Sena, the Indian National Congress, and the Nationalist Congress Party will provide comprehensive, inclusive growth and balanced economic development for all sections of society. He highlighted that a coalition government representing diverse social and regional constituencies possesses a unique opportunity to prioritize farmer welfare, rural development, urban civic infrastructure, and industrial revitalization while maintaining social harmony across communities.
Stalin noted that cooperative governance grounded in democratic consensus strengthens regional administration and constitutional stability. He reaffirmed the DMK's solidarity with progressive state administrations that dedicate their administrative machinery to public service and equitable regional progress.
