#DMKRally #DMKagainstCAA https://t.co/xgiGqsyTlc

DMK president M.K. Stalin issued an impassioned public appeal calling on citizens across Tamil Nadu to join the massive demonstration scheduled in Chennai against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Stalin emphasized that the impending rally was not an ordinary partisan contest or conventional political agitation, but an essential moral battle for human equality, fraternity, constitutional democracy, and social justice. He urged people from all walks of life to gather in large numbers to defend foundational national principles.
Stalin explained that the citizenship law enacted by the Union government threatens the secular fabric of the republic by introducing discriminatory sectarian criteria into nationality statutes. He pointed out that remaining passive in the face of such divisive legislative assaults compromises the democratic rights of future generations. The planned protest represents a peaceful collective battlefield where citizens must stand together to resist authoritarian centralization and protect communal harmony across the country.
Stalin concluded by extending an open invitation to youth, students, workers, and civic groups to raise their voices unitedly in Chennai. He affirmed that the DMK will persistently provide frontline leadership in safeguarding constitutional liberties and democratic dignity for all communities.
