#TNopposeCAA #CAA_NRC_Protest https://t.co/MGizj6XBhD

DMK president M.K. Stalin announced that democratic agitations against the Citizenship Amendment Act will persist unabated until the Union Government formally repeals the contentious statute. Speaking following the conclusion of the mammoth rally held in Chennai, Stalin emphasized that public indignation across Tamil Nadu cannot be treated as a one-time symbolic event. He affirmed that the opposition movement will systematically escalate its peaceful campaign through structured democratic avenues.
Stalin disclosed plans to convene comprehensive consultative meetings with leaders of the Secular Progressive Alliance, alongside representatives from various political organizations, student unions, and civil society formations. He stressed that defending constitutional secularism transcends conventional electoral boundaries, requiring broad-based public solidarity. By engaging diverse societal stakeholders beyond routine political lines, the opposition aims to formulate impactful collective strategies for subsequent phases of the statewide resistance.
Stalin stated that the ruling central establishment must recognize the widespread public rejection of faith-based citizenship criteria across southern India. He pledged that the DMK will persistently champion constitutional equality, ensuring that the collective voice of Tamil Nadu resonates forcefully until the discriminatory legislative measures are completely dismantled.
