Honoured to be present at the swearing-in ceremony of @HemantSorenJMM.
Unity and coordination among secular parties essential to oppose #CAA & #NRC & #NPR fight back communal forces and protect social justice.

DMK president M.K. Stalin attended the formal swearing-in ceremony of prominent Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand in Ranchi. Expressing honor at representing Tamil Nadu at the historic assembly, Stalin extended warm congratulations to Soren and the incoming coalition government, wishing them an impactful tenure dedicated to public welfare and tribal emancipation. He noted that the decisive electoral victory of the secular alliance in Jharkhand delivered a resounding rejection of polarizing majoritarian politics by marginalized communities.
Stalin utilized the national gathering of opposition leaders to emphasize that resolute unity and programmatic coordination among regional and secular political parties are indispensable to safeguard constitutional democracy. Confronting discriminatory central enactments like the Citizenship Amendment Act, the National Register of Citizens, and the National Population Register requires synchronized nationwide opposition across state capitals.
Stalin affirmed that regional parties defending federal autonomy, linguistic dignity, and social justice must stand in unflinching solidarity against authoritarian centralism. He resolved that the DMK will persistently collaborate with progressive democratic partners across state boundaries to defeat communal hegemony and protect constitutional equality for all citizens.
