#LetterToBrethren https://t.co/CvRlsapvNp

DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed party cadres through an official epistle, warning them about contradictory stances adopted by the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission during judicial proceedings in the Madras High Court and Supreme Court. Stalin stated that conflicting representations made by the commission's legal counsel completely shattered public confidence regarding its constitutional impartiality. The commission's conduct raised profound doubts as to whether it operated as an independent constitutional watchdog or acted as a subservient puppet of the ruling AIADMK government.
Stalin emphasized that the ruling regime, terrified by imminent electoral defeat across rural districts, stood prepared to deploy administrative coercion, delay declarations, and orchestrate counting malpractices. He instructed DMK counting agents, legal representatives, and local functionaries to maintain round-the-clock vigilance at counting centers, verify postal ballots rigorously, and prevent ruling party functionaries from tampering with ballot boxes.
Stalin stated that safeguarding every legitimate ballot cast by rural citizens represents an urgent democratic obligation. He affirmed that disciplined cadre vigilance throughout the counting process will successfully foil authoritarian machinations and secure the Secular Progressive Alliance's hard-earned mandate across local bodies.
