Stalin strongly criticized the Union Government's disinvestment drive, characterizing the aggressive push to privatize public sector undertakings as a strategic mistake and an economic blunder. Stalin stated that liquidating foundational state enterprises exposes the central administration's inability to manage and govern public industrial assets effectively. Instead of reforming operational structures, improving management autonomy, or resolving structural bottlenecks, the government resorted to hasty asset sales to cover fiscal deficits during an economic slowdown.

Stalin observed that public sector corporations were established to build national self-reliance, generate industrial employment, and ensure equitable development across backward regions. Offloading profitable commercial undertakings to private corporate conglomerates damages public wealth and eliminates affirmative action opportunities for socially disadvantaged communities. Reckless privatization threatens worker welfare, concentrates economic power, and destabilizes sovereign control over key economic sectors.

Stalin demanded that the Union Government halt the wholesale sale of national assets and devise sustainable revival strategies for distressed public undertakings.
