DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a sincere and firm appeal to leaders and spokespersons of both the DMK and the Indian National Congress, urging them to strictly refrain from airing differing views or grievances in public forums. Stalin cautioned that public disagreements between alliance partners only provide fodder for opportunistic political adversaries and biased media segments that desperately seek fractures within the Secular Progressive Alliance. He emphasized that mutual respect, mature internal consultations, and ideological cohesion are essential to defeat anti-people forces across Tamil Nadu and the nation.

Stalin observed that the secular alliance was forged on principled constitutional commitments: defending federalism, protecting social justice, preserving pluralism, and removing authoritarian misrule. At a time when the country faces severe economic stagnation and divisive citizenship legislation, the unity of progressive forces represents the only viable democratic alternative for the people. Allowing minor local disputes to overshadow national democratic responsibilities would betray the immense trust reposed in the alliance by millions of voters.

Stalin called upon leaders and functionaries of both parties to resolve all organizational matters through internal dialogue. He affirmed that unbreakable solidarity among secular parties will secure decisive victory in upcoming electoral battles.
