DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed an emotional epistle to party cadres, titled 'Letter to Brethren', reflecting upon the loss of veteran general secretary K. Anbazhagan and outlining political responsibilities. Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement's unyielding journey to protect Tamil ethnic dignity, linguistic rights, and cultural heritage will proceed with renewed vigor, guided by the ideological flame passed down by Anbazhagan. He urged party workers to transform their collective sorrow into purposeful resolve and grassroots discipline.
Stalin recalled that Anbazhagan stood beside former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi for over seven decades, building an egalitarian social movement dedicated to Dravidian self-respect and social justice. He stressed that upcoming political triumphs must be dedicated as sacred tributes to the memories of both visionary leaders. Stalin warned that retrogressive political forces seek to dilute Tamil identity, making ideological vigilance and cadre unity essential.
Stalin called upon every party worker to deepen their connection with grassroots communities and champion the rights of the underprivileged. He emphasized that unwavering commitment to the Dravidian ideals of equality, state autonomy, and secular harmony will secure Tamil Nadu's democratic future. Stalin concluded with a call to uphold the ideological torch and march toward victory.
