DMK president M.K. Stalin paid profound emotional tribute to the enduring memory of veteran Dravidian scholar and party general secretary K. Anbazhagan. Addressing party workers, Stalin called for a renewed collective pledge to protect Tamil cultural consciousness, linguistic pride, and foundational Dravidian ideology. He emphasized that Anbazhagan personified philosophical integrity, intellectual discipline, and selfless devotion to social equality throughout eight decades of active public life.
Stalin observed that the ideological compass set by former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and K. Anbazhagan provides enduring guidance for the Dravidian movement. Anbazhagan consistently championed rationalism, state autonomy, social justice, and women's liberation, shaping progressive political discourse across Tamil Nadu. Stalin stressed that honoring Anbazhagan's towering legacy requires fulfilling his unfinished political missions, defending constitutional federalism, and resisting reactionary cultural intrusions.
Stalin instructed party members across all districts to translate the departed leader's ideological teachings into everyday community service and public advocacy. He reiterated that the DMK will steadfastly preserve its self-respect heritage against regressive forces seeking to diminish Tamil dignity. Stalin concluded that advancing the principles of social justice represents the most meaningful tribute to the revered leader.
