Dear @KTRTRS, Thank you for your quick support to our Tamil Nadu vendors during this critical period. @TelanganaCMO
DMK president M.K. Stalin extended sincere gratitude to Telangana Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao and the Telangana Chief Minister's Office for their rapid, effective intervention in rescuing stranded Tamil Nadu vendors. Acting immediately upon Stalin's representation concerning distressed vendors trapped in northern Telangana districts without basic sustenance, state officials mobilized local administrative machinery to distribute food supplies, ensure secure accommodations, and address urgent medical needs. Stalin commended this swift response as a testament to responsive governance.
Stalin highlighted that small trade vendors, handicraft sellers, and seasonal laborers faced acute vulnerability following the abrupt cessation of public transportation. Stranded in unfamiliar territories without family support or daily earnings, their survival depended entirely on the prompt empathy of host state authorities. Minister Rama Rao's swift personal coordination demonstrated that humanitarian concern transcends political and linguistic divisions during moments of national crisis.
Stalin reaffirmed that the DMK will continue collaborating actively with fraternal state administrations across South India to track and alleviate distress among migrant communities. He offered reciprocal support for any Telangana citizens stranded in Tamil Nadu. Stalin emphasized that cooperative federalism and compassionate administrative solidarity remain indispensable to overcoming the monumental challenges posed by the pandemic.
