DMK president M.K. Stalin affirmed that the DMK and its leadership will forever dedicate their organizational energies to safeguarding the welfare of ordinary citizens, as demonstrated by the monumental success of the hunger alleviation initiative organized under the Ondrinaivom Vaa movement. Stalin declared that by mobilizing statewide community feeding kitchens to nourish impoverished, destitute, and daily wage-earning families, the party had faithfully honored the deep trust reposed in it by the people of Tamil Nadu.

Stalin noted that during an unprecedented lockdown that abruptly stripped millions of their daily earnings and left families without food, DMK functionaries stepped forward with genuine compassion to ensure that no household went to bed hungry. This massive relief effort bridged social divides and inspired widespread public confidence, showing that political organizations can function as powerful engines of social solidarity during acute national crises.

Stalin reiterated that feeding the hungry and uplifting the vulnerable are foundational principles instilled by Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar.
