I condemn this Social Injustice!
The Union Govt has deprived OBC students of their rightful quota for #NEET in UG&PG courses(Medical & Dental). They've lost 11,000 seats in 3 years!
Urge @PMOIndia to safeguard the reservation policy,in letter & in spirit as per the constitution. https://t.co/AKUtjB8sP0

DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly condemned the Union government for perpetrating a monumental social injustice by denying Other Backward Class students their lawful twenty-seven percent reservation in the All-India Quota of undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental seats. Stalin pointed out that due to this arbitrary administrative deprivation, backward class aspirants across India lost over eleven thousand seats during the preceding three academic years alone.
Stalin highlighted that states surrender fifteen percent of undergraduate and fifty percent of postgraduate medical seats to the central pool with the explicit understanding that constitutional affirmative action principles would be faithfully observed. Refusing to implement OBC reservations while granting seats to other categories demonstrates discriminatory institutional bias that sabotages social justice and disenfranchises talented students from historically backward communities.
Stalin urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene immediately and safeguard the reservation policy in letter and spirit, as mandated by the Constitution of India. He affirmed that the DMK will not remain a silent spectator to this injustice, pledging to mobilize nationwide legal and political campaigns to secure the rightful affirmative action quotas for backward classes in medical education.
