DMK president M.K. Stalin urged Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami to take immediate administrative action on six lakh verified public grievance petitions submitted electronically by the DMK through the Ondrinaivom Vaa platform. Stalin noted that this massive submission followed an initial tranche of one lakh urgent representations previously delivered to state authorities, representing genuine distress calls from vulnerable citizens across every municipal corporation, municipality, and rural panchayat in Tamil Nadu.
Stalin stated that every single petition hosted on the dedicated public portal detailed pressing grassroots problems, including acute food deprivation, lack of livelihood assistance, denial of government cash relief, and urgent medical needs. Instead of ignoring public cries or treating constructive opposition assistance with political prejudice, the state administration is constitutionally obligated to deploy district revenue machinery and address citizen difficulties promptly.
Stalin emphasized that the DMK undertook this rigorous data-gathering exercise strictly to bridge the vast communication gap between struggling citizens and an unresponsive bureaucracy. He called upon the Chief Minister to abandon political hesitation, acknowledge the immense scale of grassroots distress, and instruct district collectors to disburse immediate relief to every affected applicant without bureaucratic obstruction.
