Stalin stressed that withholding essential testing metrics deprives the public and independent epidemiologists of accurate information needed to comprehend the actual spread and severity of contagion beyond Chennai.

Stalin asserted that repeated administrative lapses, data suppression, and negligent oversight during a public health emergency can no longer be tolerated by the people. While infection rates and mortality figures continued climbing across peri-urban and rural districts, the state health department restricted public bulletins to selective aggregates that obscured localized transmission patterns. Hiding testing numbers undermines epidemic tracking, prevents citizens from taking informed precautions, and deprives under-resourced district hospitals of vital logistical reinforcements and clinical supplies.

Stalin insisted that Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami provide immediate, honest answers regarding daily RT-PCR testing volumes per district, testing positivity rates, and contact tracing efficiency.
