Stalin personally contacted and congratulated Sridevi, an exceptional tribal girl from Poochikottampaarai in Udumalpet, who achieved an impressive 95 percent in her tenth-grade examinations. Living in a remote forest hamlet and commuting across state borders to attend school in Kerala via a special bus service provided by the neighboring government, Sridevi overcame severe socio-economic hardships, geographic isolation, and infrastructural barriers to secure top academic honors.

Moved by her inspiring perseverance, Stalin spoke with Sridevi and commended her determination to pursue higher studies and become a medical doctor dedicated to treating forest-dwelling tribal communities. To support her academic journey and alleviate her family financial constraints, Stalin granted educational assistance of one lakh rupees from party welfare funds. He emphasized that education remains the most powerful instrument for the social emancipation and economic empowerment of marginalized tribal communities.

Stalin lauded Sridevi remarkable academic success as an inspiring beacon of hope for underprivileged youth across Tamil Nadu.
