DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound grief and shock over the brutal murder of DMK panchayat council president Paramaguru, condemning the horrific act of violence in the strongest possible terms. Stalin stated that the brazen daylight killing of a grassroots elected representative was heart-wrenching and demonstrated a complete collapse of law and order under the AIADMK administration in Tamil Nadu.

Stalin pointed out that when elected civic leaders who actively work for community welfare are targeted and murdered without fear of law enforcement, it creates widespread terror and insecurity among ordinary citizens. He criticized the state police department for intelligence failures and administrative complacency, asserting that political interference and ministerial indifference had compromised the effectiveness of the state police machinery. Stalin demanded that the police authorities immediately apprehend all culprits involved in the gruesome conspiracy and secure maximum legal punishment through fast-track prosecution.
