Providing professional education for marginalized communities is essential for their empowerment and for democracy. Meritorious students from such communities are being denied opportunities by the AIQ.

DMK president M.K. Stalin issued an earnest appeal to political party leaders across India, emphasizing that providing access to professional education for marginalized communities is indispensable for social empowerment and democratic vitality. Stalin observed that meritorious students from Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes continue to face systemic exclusion in All India Quota medical and dental admissions due to the Union government's refusal to apply statutory reservations.
In a comprehensive memorandum addressed to political parties, Stalin detailed how central admissions protocols have unlawfully denied thousands of qualified candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds their rightful educational opportunities. State governments surrender significant proportions of medical seats with the expectation that social justice principles will be preserved, yet central authorities have bypassed regional affirmative action mandates. This administrative refusal deprives underprivileged communities of representation in essential healthcare professions.
Calling upon all democratic forces to raise a collective voice and defend the defenseless, Stalin urged nationwide mobilization to enforce reservation mandates in national quotas. He affirmed that the DMK will spearhead sustained legal, legislative, and grassroots efforts to ensure that professional education remains accessible to every deserving student, regardless of socio-economic background.
