DMK president M.K. Stalin convened a high-level consultative conference comprising district secretaries, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and members of the party's High-Level Action Committee in Chennai. The leadership assembly engaged in extensive deliberations on pressing political developments, resulting in the unanimous adoption of four consequential resolutions safeguarding state rights, environmental safety, and public health across Tamil Nadu.

The principal resolutions categorically rejected the Union government's National Education Policy 2020 for infringing upon state autonomy, and demanded the immediate withdrawal of the contentious Environment Impact Assessment Draft 2020 that dilutes environmental regulations for corporate entities. In addition, the party resolved to organize solemn commemorative events honoring frontline healthcare warriors battling Covid-19 during former Chief Minister Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi's upcoming memorial anniversary.

Stalin called upon party leaders across every district to communicate the substance of these resolutions directly to the grassroots public through active outreach. He emphasized that the DMK must spearhead democratic resistance against anti-people policies while actively delivering humanitarian relief to vulnerable households, laying solid organizational foundations for the forthcoming legislative assembly elections in the state.
