DMK president M.K. Stalin paid glowing tributes to legendary anti-colonial commander Dheeran Chinnamalai on his memorial anniversary, honoring his fearless armed resistance against British colonial expansion across western Tamil Nadu. Stalin described Chinnamalai as an enduring icon of patriotism, self-respect, and military valor who inspired generations of freedom fighters to stand resolutely against imperial subjugation and economic plunder.

Recalling Chinnamalai's core governing philosophy, Stalin emphasized the revolutionary hero's enduring tenet that public tax revenues collected from society must be utilized solely for the welfare and uplift of impoverished citizens. Stalin asserted that this egalitarian ideal forms the bedrock of the Dravidian movement's welfare philosophy. In contrast to ruling dispensations that divert public resources to private cartels and contractor commissions, progressive administration demands channeling state revenue directly into public education, public health, and social welfare programs.

Taking a solemn pledge on this memorial day, Stalin declared that the DMK will perpetually strive to translate Chinnamalai's vision of economic justice into state policy. He called upon party cadres and youth to emulate the warrior's sacrifice, safeguarding democratic self-respect and working tirelessly for the socio-economic liberation of working-class families across Tamil Nadu.
