DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed deep dismay over serious irregularities detected in the declaration of Union Public Service Commission civil services examination results, asserting that constitutional reservation rights for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes had been grievously compromised. Stalin observed that meritorious reserved candidates were systematically denied rightful representation in civil service recruitment lists.

Stalin pointed out that the arbitrary implementation of ten percent reservation for Economically Weaker Sections at multiple stages of the civil service examination had skewed selection thresholds against underprivileged groups. By altering qualifying benchmarks and failing to migrate meritorious reserved candidates to open categories properly, the testing process dismantled established constitutional jurisprudence. This administrative distortion prevents qualified candidates from marginalized backgrounds from entering senior policymaking tiers in national administration.

Demanding an immediate and transparent review of the civil services selection process, Stalin urged the Union government to rectify discrepancies and uphold constitutional affirmative action. He declared that the DMK will persistently resist bureaucratic maneuvers that undermine social justice, pledging to fight inside parliament and courtrooms to protect constitutional rights for oppressed communities.
