DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed an affectionate and inspiring message to the youth of Tamil Nadu on the occasion of International Youth Day, urging young minds to channel their boundless energy and intellect toward social reconstruction. Highlighting the historic role of student activists in the Dravidian movement, Stalin reminded youth that progressive political consciousness and rationalist inquiry are essential weapons against societal decay and administrative tyranny.
Stalin expressed deep concern over widespread youth unemployment, educational disruption, and contracting economic avenues caused by regressive government policies. He stated that the ruling dispensation has systematically neglected the aspirations of young citizens, reducing career opportunities through commercialized entrance exams and job recruitment freezes. The DMK, he noted, has historically championed affordable higher education, technology centers, and state reservation policies to elevate underprivileged youth into influential leadership roles.
Calling upon young women and men to join the DMK's democratic mission, Stalin urged the younger generation to stand up for state autonomy, social justice, and constitutional equality. He affirmed that youth leadership will drive the resurgence of Tamil Nadu, creating an equitable society where every young person thrives.
