DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound outrage and strongly condemned Union Ministry of AYUSH Secretary Rajesh Kotecha for his arrogant and uncivilized conduct toward Tamil naturopathy medical practitioners during an official national training conference. Kotecha openly instructed participating medical officers that he would speak only in Hindi and insolently told participants who did not understand the language to leave the government training session. Stalin described this behavior as an unacceptable manifestation of linguistic chauvinism.

Stalin stated that this disgraceful incident visibly exposes the deep-seated agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party administration to impose Hindi across all central government institutions while actively disparaging non-Hindi speaking citizens and professionals. He emphasized that medical practitioners from Tamil Nadu and other non-Hindi regions possess equal constitutional dignity and rights within the republic, and cannot be treated as second-class citizens by high-handed central bureaucrats. Stalin called upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate disciplinary action against the Secretary.

Urging Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami to apply firm administrative pressure on central leadership, Stalin declared that Tamil Nadu will never tolerate linguistic insult, and the DMK will relentlessly resist every form of Hindi imposition.
