சென்னையில் மறைக்கப்பட்ட மரணங்களுக்கே விளக்கம் வரவில்லை. அடுத்த அதிர்ச்சி நெல்லையில்!

DMK president M.K. Stalin exposed significant discrepancies in official Covid-19 mortality statistics in Tirunelveli district, revealing that the state government concealed over one hundred pandemic fatalities. While official health department bulletins reported only 182 coronavirus-related deaths in the district, information obtained through the Right to Information Act confirmed 285 deaths, indicating that 103 fatalities were excluded from public records. Stalin criticized the AIADMK administration for deliberately suppressing vital healthcare information.
Stalin recalled that similar discrepancies were previously exposed in Chennai, where the health department was forced to reconcile hundreds of uncounted virus fatalities following widespread public outrage. He noted that obscuring actual mortality figures prevents epidemiologists, local healthcare workers, and district administrators from assessing the genuine severity of viral transmission and allocating adequate medical resources. Playing with mortality data, Stalin warned, undermines public safety and erodes citizen trust in public health institutions.
Calling for complete transparency in epidemic data reporting across all districts, Stalin urged Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami to halt data suppression immediately. He demanded an honest accounting of all coronavirus fatalities to ensure affected families receive legitimate state compensation and institutional support.
