Editorial context

DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed aspiring medical students across Tamil Nadu through an emotional message in his Udanpirappu Kaditham, urging them to remain courageous and eliminate despair during stressful examination periods. Stalin gave a solemn, binding pledge that the very first priority of an incoming DMK administration will be the complete legislative and legal abolition of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test within the state. He assured young learners that his party stands solidly beside them in their educational journey.

Stalin explained that the DMK government will restore fair, transparent medical admissions based on higher secondary board examination scores, ensuring equitable opportunities for rural and underprivileged students who were unjustly sidelined by centralized entrance screening. He affirmed that the state government will undertake any necessary administrative agitation and constitutional challenge to dismantle this exploitative examination system. Stalin emphasized that medical seats established using state tax revenues belong rightfully to aspiring local youths.

Urging students to reject harmful thoughts and maintain mental fortitude, Stalin reaffirmed that better times are arriving soon. He declared that the DMK will leave no stone unturned to secure educational justice and defend the dreams of Tamil Nadu's aspiring doctors.
