DMK president M.K. Stalin paid glowing tributes to respected social and political leader S.S. Ramasamy Padayatchiar on his one hundred and third birth anniversary, honoring his dedicated contributions to the empowerment of backward and most backward communities across Tamil Nadu. Stalin recalled that Ramasamy Padayatchiar spent his entire public life advocating for the educational advancement, economic dignity, and political representation of marginalized agrarian and working-class families in the northern districts.

Stalin noted that the Dravidian movement has always maintained profound respect for leaders who championed affirmative action and rural welfare. He highlighted that previous DMK administrations under former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi had instituted lasting public honors, including memorial structures and administrative recognitions, to celebrate Padayatchiar's legacy.
