DMK president M.K. Stalin released a special video retrospective reflecting upon his decades-long political journey within the Dravidian movement on the occasion of Thanthai Periyar's birth anniversary. Recalling his entry into political activism as a young volunteer under the mentorship of party founder Perarignar Anna and former Chief Minister M. From grassroots campaigning during student days and enduring incarceration under internal security laws to leading the party organization, he stated that commitment to Periyar's egalitarian vision sustained his resolve during every political trial. He observed that safeguarding Tamil language, federal autonomy, and affirmative action remains the primary mission of his public life.

Reiterating his dedication to Tamil Nadu's advancement, Stalin affirmed that the DMK will continue fighting against conservative forces seeking to reverse decades of progressive social reform. He called upon youth to embrace Dravidian values to build an egalitarian society.
