அதிமுக அரசு இதை அணுவளவும் அனுமதித்தல் கூடாது!

DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly condemned the reprehensible caste-based humiliation inflicted upon Rajeswari, an elected Dalit woman panchayat president of Thekkuthittai village in Cuddalore district. Reports revealed that dominant-caste local functionaries forced Rajeswari to sit on the floor during official panchayat meetings while refusing her the dignity of a chair. Stalin termed the discriminatory act a grievous crime against humanity and a direct assault on constitutional democracy.
Stalin emphasized that the ruling AIADMK government must not display the slightest tolerance toward feudal caste violence and social intimidation in local administration. He recalled that the DMK had historically fought to conduct delayed panchayat elections in reserved local bodies such as Pappapatti, Keeripatti, and Nakkalamuthanpatti, ensuring that oppressed communities exercised real political power. Stalin asserted that social justice is meaningless if elected representatives from marginalized backgrounds are systematically humiliated by reactionary elements.
Stalin demanded immediate criminal prosecution and arrest of all perpetrators under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act. He reaffirmed that the DMK will always stand as an uncompromising protector of Dalit empowerment and grassroots social democracy.
