DMK president M.K. Stalin declared that malicious attempts by political adversaries to sow discord and weaken the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance ahead of the 2021 Tamil Nadu legislative assembly elections would fail entirely. He stated that certain reactionary forces, driven by desperation and fear of imminent electoral defeat, were actively trying to generate artificial friction among coalition partners through media rumors and manufactured controversies.

Stalin asserted that the Secular Progressive Alliance was built upon shared ideological principles of secularism, social justice, and state autonomy, not opportunistic power-sharing arrangements. He emphasized that the coalition was marching forward with complete clarity of ideological vision, mutual organizational trust, and absolute political firmness toward the 2021 electoral contest. Stalin warned conspirators that their disruptive schemes would disintegrate before the unified collective resolve of the democratic alliance.

Stalin reassured the public that the coalition's path and destination were thoroughly charted and unshakeable.
