DMK president M.K. Stalin condemned the AIADMK government for engaging in deceptive political drama rather than implementing reservation for Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes in undergraduate and postgraduate medical admissions. Stalin recalled that the DMK had fought arduous legal battles before the Madras High Court, successfully securing a historic judicial verdict that recognized OBC reservation rights in all-India quota medical seats surrendered by state institutions.

However, Stalin pointed out that Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had failed to demand the immediate enforcement of this judicial ruling for the ongoing academic year. He accused the state administration of surrendering vital constitutional entitlements simply to avoid displeasing the BJP-led Union government. Stalin stated that backward class students were being cheated out of hundreds of legitimate medical seats because of the state government's cowardice and political collusion with central authorities.

Stalin warned that the people of Tamil Nadu would never forgive this betrayal of hard-won social justice principles. He pledged that the DMK would continue relentless constitutional struggles to protect medical reservation rights for backward communities across the state without conceding an inch of ground.
