DMK president M.K. Stalin invited citizens, civil society groups, professional associations, and trade unions across Tamil Nadu to submit their suggestions and policy ideas for inclusion in the party's 2021 legislative assembly election manifesto. Stalin announced that recommendations could be delivered directly in person, by postal mail, or electronically through a dedicated manifesto email address. He emphasized that the DMK's election manifesto would not be formulated behind closed doors, but would genuinely reflect the lived experiences, urgent needs, and developmental aspirations of ordinary people.

Stalin reaffirmed the party's enduring political motto, stating that the DMK commits only to what it will accomplish, and faithfully performs whatever it promises to the public. He explained that popular consultation was critical to design practical policy solutions for restoring agrarian viability, expanding youth employment, and reforming public healthcare administration. Stalin stressed that public feedback would help build a transparent, responsive, and accountable governance roadmap to replace years of administrative decay.

Stalin called upon every citizen to participate enthusiastically in shaping the state's future developmental course. He assured that the forthcoming manifesto would represent a solemn social covenant with the people of Tamil Nadu.
