@CMOTamilNadu அஞ்சி நடுங்காமல் 2016க்கு முன்பிருந்த இடஒதுக்கீட்டை அமல்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

DMK president M.K. Stalin urged the Union government to reverse its arbitrary decision denying fifty percent reservation for in-service government doctors in super-specialty medical courses. He argued that institutional reservation for state service doctors had formed the bedrock of Tamil Nadu's exceptional public healthcare infrastructure for decades, motivating qualified medical professionals to serve in rural and remote government hospitals. Stalin criticized Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for failing to assert state rights and demanded the immediate reinstatement of the pre-2016 reservation framework without hesitation.
Stalin highlighted that surrendering state medical quotas to the central All India Quota system severely undermined regional talent and depleted specialist staffing across state-run district headquarters hospitals. He pledged that once the DMK assumes office, it will firmly dismantle the All India Quota encroachment in state medical institutions and protect the legitimate career advancement of Tamil Nadu's medical fraternity. Stalin stressed that public health excellence depends directly on rewarding dedicated government doctors who work on the frontlines.
The statement drew widespread support from government doctors' associations and medical federations. Stalin affirmed that the DMK would pursue both legal battles and legislative remedies to secure healthcare justice.
