DMK president M.K. Stalin advised party cadres across Tamil Nadu not to tear down or react aggressively to malicious, anonymous posters pasted by unscrupulous political detractors, invoking Arignar Anna's famous maxim of long live the revilers. Stalin observed that corrupt political elements who have systematically mortgaged state rights and looted public resources are resorting to midnight poster campaigns out of sheer cowardice, knowing that their administrative failure is thoroughly rejected by the people.
Stalin warned the ruling syndicate that cowardly nocturnal smear campaigns cannot diminish the overwhelming public support surging behind the DMK. He asserted that if the plundering political clique continues to paste deceitful posters instead of confronting issues democratically, the conscious electorate of Tamil Nadu will inflict an unforgettable, historic defeat upon them in the upcoming 2021 legislative assembly elections. Stalin urged party workers to maintain strict discipline, focus on grassroots campaign tasks, and channel their energy into popular mobilization.
Reiterating that truth and self-respect will prevail over defamatory tricks, Stalin called upon the cadre to remain united under the Thamilagam Meetpom movement. He expressed full confidence in a resounding democratic victory.
