பயந்து விசாரணை ஆணையத்தையே முடக்கியவர் @CMOTamilNadu.

DMK president M.K. Stalin held the ruling AIADMK government entirely accountable for every phase of the controversial Sterlite copper plant in Thoothukudi, ranging from granting original industrial approvals and laying foundation stones to orchestrating the brutal police firing that killed thirteen innocent protesters. Condemning Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for attempting to distort historical facts during official government functions, Stalin asserted that public platforms must not be degraded into stages for brazen political falsehoods.
Stalin highlighted that the Chief Minister had paralyzed the judicial inquiry commission tasked with probing the horrific May 2018 massacre, shielding culpable police commanders and bureaucratic officials from accountability. He reminded the public that Palaniswami notoriously claimed he only learned about the state-sponsored shooting through television broadcasts, showcasing shocking indifference toward citizen lives and democratic assembly rights. Stalin advised the Chief Minister to learn basic political decency, practice verbal restraint, and stop insulting the memory of martyred demonstrators.
Stalin reiterated that the DMK stands unreservedly beside the families of Thoothukudi victims in their quest for justice. He affirmed that an incoming DMK government would enforce complete legal accountability and ensure permanent closure of polluting industrial facilities.
