DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly criticized Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for making inappropriate public comments regarding the ongoing election petition appeal before the Supreme Court, which previously upheld Stalin's democratic victory in the Kolathur legislative assembly constituency. Questioning whether the Chief Minister believed he could dictate orders to the nation's highest judicial institution, Stalin observed that Palaniswami's desperate statements stem from acute panic over impending political accountability.
Stalin asserted that the ruling AIADMK leadership is terrified because the stench of monumental administrative corruption and illicit financial deals accumulated over a decade will be thoroughly exposed after May 2021. He stressed that frivolous legal maneuvers and groundless allegations cannot alter the decisive democratic mandate conferred by the discerning voters of Kolathur. Stalin emphasized that the DMK's primary objective remains the total uprooting of the corrupt AIADMK administration to redeem Tamil Nadu under the Thamilagam Meetpom campaign.
Reiterating his dedication to serving the people of Kolathur and Tamil Nadu, Stalin affirmed that democratic truth will prevail in the judicial forum. He expressed unwavering confidence that the electorate will decisively reject the ruling regime in the upcoming general elections.
