Using the traditional Tamil idiom of giving butter to one eye and limestone to the other, Stalin questioned why uniform entrance rules are enforced strictly upon states while premier central bodies enjoy selective exemptions.
Stalin demanded the immediate abolition of NEET for Tamil Nadu and the full restoration of the state's sovereign right to conduct medical admissions based on qualifying school marks, strictly adhering to the 69 percent statutory reservation policy. He noted that NEET has shattered the dreams of rural, economically backward, and government school students, driving several talented youngsters to despair and suicide. Stalin criticized the AIADMK administration for meekly accepting central dictates that erode state autonomy in higher education.
Stalin affirmed that the DMK will continue its uncompromising struggle in the legislature and judiciary until Tamil Nadu is completely exempted from NEET, guaranteeing fair educational opportunities for all native students.
