உரிமைகள் பட்டப்பகலில் பறி போகின்றன.
#HumanRightsDay-வை கொண்டாடும் தகுதியை நாம் எப்போது பெறப் போகிறோம்?

DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a poignant message on International Human Rights Day, questioning whether the nation truly possesses the moral standing to celebrate human rights while millions face severe state repression and systemic deprivation. Stalin highlighted that across India, thousands of farmers had taken to freezing streets to protest controversial central agrarian laws that threaten their livelihood independence. Concurrently, the unmanaged fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic had plunged poor and working-class families into profound economic insecurity, with essential civil liberties being curtailed in broad daylight.
Stalin asserted that genuine human rights cannot exist as mere statutory rhetoric when basic constitutional protections, dissenting voices, and labor rights are suppressed by executive overreach. He called upon civil society, legal activists, and progressive democratic forces to unite in an unyielding struggle to protect fundamental freedoms guaranteed under the Indian Constitution. Stalin declared that the fight for human dignity and democratic rights must persist until institutional accountability is restored across all tiers of governance.
The statement received widespread backing from civil rights advocates, trade unions, and agrarian collectives confronting state indifference. Stalin affirmed that defending human rights remains central to the DMK's foundational ideology.
