தனிப்பட்ட அரசியல் நலனுக்காக மட்டுமே பாஜகவிடம் நெருக்கமா?

DMK president M.K. Stalin sharply criticized the AIADMK government over meager disaster relief allocations from the Union government, highlighting that only 6,187 crore rupees had been received out of 1.14 lakh crore rupees sought across various calamities. Stalin questioned the political alliance between the ruling AIADMK and the Bharatiya Janata Party, arguing that close ties had failed to secure legitimate financial entitlements for Tamil Nadu while serving only narrow partisan interests.
Turning to the immediate crisis caused by Cyclone Nivar, Stalin expressed deep concern over widespread crop devastation across rural districts. He demanded that the state administration disburse 30,000 rupees per acre as direct compensation to assist affected farmers facing severe financial ruin. Stalin emphasized that peasant households must not be abandoned to debt and distress after suffering catastrophic waterlogging and harvest losses during crucial cropping cycles.
He urged the state government to expedite field damage surveys and deliver immediate compensation without bureaucratic hurdles or political discrimination. Stalin affirmed that public resources must directly safeguard agricultural livelihoods during climate disasters, reiterating the DMK's commitment to standing firmly beside agrarian workers across the state.
