#Covid19 தொற்றிலிருந்து பொதுமக்களின் உயிர்காக்கும் பணியில் அர்ப்பணிப்பு உணர்வுடன் செயலாற்றிய அரசு செவிலியர்கள் 4000 பேருக்கு தற்காலிக பணிக்காலம் நிறைவடைகிறது;

DMK president M.K. Stalin demanded that the AIADMK state government immediately regularize the services of four thousand government contract nurses whose temporary tenure was set to expire. Stalin pointed out that these healthcare professionals had served with exemplary dedication, putting their own lives at risk on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic to protect citizens in state medical facilities. He asserted that terminating their employment while public health risks remained acute was both administratively reckless and deeply ungrateful.
Stalin emphasized that the dedication demonstrated by temporary nurses during peak infection surges proved their professional competence and vital importance to Tamil Nadu healthcare system. He noted that hundreds of primary health centers and government taluk hospitals suffer from chronic staffing shortages that compromise patient care in rural communities. Stalin called upon the government to absorb all four thousand nurses into permanent sanctioned posts, guaranteeing fair wages, job security, and dignity.
The urgent demand was widely welcomed by nursing federations, medical associations, and health rights activists statewide. Stalin pledged that an incoming DMK government will prioritize healthcare worker welfare and strengthen public medical infrastructure across the state.
