DMK president M.K. Stalin commemorated the ninety-eighth birth anniversary of veteran Dravidian stalwart Perasiriyar K. Anbazhagan by presiding over a welfare event in Chennai where he distributed educational scholarships and essential learning equipment to one hundred college girl students. Stalin expressed deep emotional satisfaction, remarking that dedicating the birth anniversary of the revered general secretary to supporting women higher education was the most fitting tribute to his lifelong dedication to rationalism, literacy, and social reform.

Stalin recalled Anbazhagan intellectual brilliance, ideological steadfastness, and pivotal role alongside former chief minister M. Karunanidhi in modernizing Tamil Nadu school and university education systems.
