DMK president M.K. Stalin launched an attack on the incumbent AIADMK administration, asserting that the state government had completely surrendered regional autonomy and social justice ideals to remain in power. He noted that crucial state rights concerning fiscal federalism, language policy, public sector recruitment, and educational reservations had been systematically compromised. The conference slogan, Reclaim and Save Tamil Nadu, encapsulated the widespread sentiment of people across southern districts who demanded an immediate end to administrative subjugation.
