தேர்வில் நிராகரிக்கப்பட்ட பெரும்பாலானோர் தமிழ்வழி பயின்றோர்! புறக்கணிப்பு ஏன்?

DMK president M.K. Stalin raised serious questions regarding the recruitment process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for appointing officers in the State Department of Archaeology. Stalin expressed profound concern over reports that candidates from other states, lacking proficiency in Tamil language and script, were being selected to decipher and examine ancient Tamil inscriptions and epigraphs. At the same time, qualified Tamil-medium scholars and local epigraphy graduates were systematically rejected during certificate verification and interview stages.
Stalin characterized the exclusion of Tamil-educated youth from jobs dedicated to preserving Tamil civilizational heritage as an egregious injustice that required urgent administrative intervention. He pointed out that reading centuries-old stone inscriptions, copper plates, and palm-leaf manuscripts requires specialized mastery of ancient Tamil scripts like Vatteluttu and Tamil-Brahmi, skills inherently nurtured within regional universities and colleges.
Stalin called upon Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami to immediately intervene and rectify the irregularities in the TNPSC recruitment drive. He demanded that state recruitment rules strictly mandate Tamil language qualifications and prioritize Tamil-medium candidates, ensuring that state employment opportunities are protected for local qualified youth.
