DMK president M.K. Stalin condemned the AIADMK government for initiating vindictive departmental disciplinary proceedings against government employees and school teachers associated with the JACTO-GEO federation. Stalin pointed out that when these public servants staged legitimate protests for pension rights and pay parity, Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had publicly appealed to them to resume work, assuring fair consideration. However, penalizing them with punitive transfers, charge sheets, and service interruptions after they resumed duty constituted an act of administrative betrayal.
Stalin demanded that the state administration immediately revoke all pending disciplinary actions, cancel punitive transfers, and restore the service records of affected educators and administrative staff. He emphasized that government staff and school teachers form the administrative backbone of public delivery in Tamil Nadu, implementing health, education, and welfare schemes across every village. Subjugating them through institutional intimidation damages administrative morale and disrupts public schooling.
Stalin gave an unconditional pledge that an incoming DMK administration will immediately withdraw all vindictive cases and fulfill the legitimate charter of demands presented by JACTO-GEO, including the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme and elimination of salary disparities.
