DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered a major keynote address during the Thamilagam Meetpom election special public meeting organized for Ariyalur and Perambalur districts, which was broadcast live across digital media platforms. Addressing party cadres and local citizens gathered virtually and physically, Stalin presented an indictment of the ruling AIADMK governance record, explaining why voters in central Tamil Nadu had mobilized firmly under the campaign banner We Reject ADMK.

Stalin highlighted the specific socioeconomic challenges confronting the agrarian and laboring communities of Ariyalur and Perambalur, including inadequate irrigation canal networks, struggling cashew and cotton cultivators, and acute industrial unemployment among youth. He recalled that previous DMK administrations under M. Karunanidhi had created essential administrative infrastructure and government welfare facilities in these districts to foster balanced regional growth. In contrast, the current dispensation had permitted developmental stagnation and contractor favoritism.

Stalin affirmed that an incoming DMK administration will prioritize rural industrialization, modernize agrarian irrigation, and ensure equitable developmental investments across Ariyalur and Perambalur. He urged party workers to take the message of democratic revival to every doorstep ahead of the state assembly elections.
