DMK president M.K. Stalin emphasized that this unprecedented popular participation proved that the anti-incumbency sentiment against the AIADMK administration was both widespread and profound. He observed that ordinary families across rural and urban constituencies had decisively rejected a decade characterized by administrative surrender, systemic corruption, and economic hardship.
