DMK president M.K. Stalin declared that the resounding public reception at the beginning of 2021 confirmed that the secular progressive alliance will surpass its ambitious electoral target of winning more than two hundred assembly seats. Stalin cited the massive, unprecedented crowds gathered in Thondamuthur and Gobichettipalayam as undeniable proof that voters across the western region of Tamil Nadu had decisively embraced the campaign slogan We Reject ADMK.

He pointed out that these large public turnouts occurred in the political bastions of senior ministers S.P. Velumani and K.A. Sengottaiyan, demonstrating widespread popular rebellion against corruption, administrative arrogance, and regional misrule. Stalin remarked that the people of the Kongu region, historically claimed as an AIADMK stronghold, were rising up against ministerial kickbacks and demanding genuine democratic leadership. He affirmed that the DMK alliance will win the enduring trust of the electorate through humble public service and reclaim Tamil Nadu from administrative decay.

Stalin concluded that the year 2021 marks the inevitable transition toward accountable, progressive governance. He urged party cadres to sustain intensive grassroots mobilization to convert popular support into a historic electoral mandate.
