DMK president M.K. Stalin warmly welcomed the decision of the Government of Delhi to establish a specialized Tamil Academy, expressing his appreciation to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Stalin noted that the creation of the cultural academy represents a commendable initiative that will foster cross-cultural understanding, strengthen linguistic fraternity, and showcase the timeless richness of Tamil heritage, literature, and art forms in the national capital.

The institutional establishment of a dedicated academy provides a vital platform for linguistic education, classical literature translation, and vibrant cultural exchange programs between northern and southern regions. He observed that promoting regional languages and cultural pluralism strengthens the democratic fabric of Indian federalism.
