DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered a keynote address at a state-level seminar convened by the DMK Minorities Wing, which was broadcast live across digital media networks. Addressing representatives from religious minority communities, civic advocates, and party functionaries, Stalin underscored the Dravidian movement foundational commitment to communal harmony, secular governance, and inclusive social justice. He recalled that former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi had instituted pioneering welfare initiatives, including separate reservation quotas for backward Muslims and extensive welfare boards for religious minorities.

Stalin cautioned that the rights and security of religious minorities across India are facing severe threats from divisive communal forces operating with the tacit support of the central administration. He criticized the ruling AIADMK for subserviently endorsing central measures, such as the Citizenship Amendment Act, which compromised secular constitutional values. Stalin asserted that genuine social progress requires creating an environment where every minority community enjoys complete safety, cultural dignity, and equal developmental opportunities.

Stalin pledged that an incoming DMK government will repeal regressive measures, protect minority educational institutions, and ensure robust socioeconomic welfare programs, reaffirming Tamil Nadu status as an enduring bastion of secular harmony.
