DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered the keynote address at a specialized legal and political seminar organized by the DMK Legal Wing, which was broadcast live across digital media platforms. Addressing an assembly of senior advocates, constitutional jurists, and legal practitioners, Stalin highlighted the pivotal role played by lawyers in safeguarding democratic norms, judicial independence, and state autonomy. He emphasized that legal professionals have historically stood at the vanguard of the Dravidian movement, defending civil liberties against administrative overreach.

Stalin observed that constitutional safeguards and federal principles are facing unprecedented institutional erosion under the present Union administration, abetted by the submissive stance of the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. He stressed that legal functionaries must act as vigilant defenders of constitutional morality, reservation policies, and regional autonomy. Stalin called upon the legal community to resist legislative measures that undermine the federal balance of powers or dilute social justice entitlements.

The seminar served as an important platform to align legal strategies ahead of the state assembly elections. Stalin concluded by urging party advocates to provide pro bono assistance to citizens facing bureaucratic intimidation and unjust executive actions.
